Apparel/Accessory Social Media Visual Merchandising

  • project description

Estes Park is a small tourist-based town near the Rocky Mountain National Park of Colorado. While the town's economy booms during summer, the shoulder seasons and winter bring a massive slowdown to the town. There are less than 10K full-time residents of the town. These locals avoid the downtown shops during summer due to crowds and traffic. It can be challenging to lure them back to downtown shops after the summer tourist rush.

The Grey House, a small outdoor apparel/accessory boutique was hoping for marketing strategy assistance to support their efforts to draw locals into the shop and out of winter cabin hibernation. Together we discovered several opportunities within the scope of their social media program. We discussed how to make their product photography more compelling by including local landscape, cabin feel, and adding some texture to their visual display options.
